Privacy policy

Operator details are not filled in yet (Admin → Settings → Legal).

UNRENT keeps as little as it can. There are no tracking cookies, no analytics scripts and no third-party fonts. This page lists everything that is processed, why, and for how long.

Controller

[Operator name], [address]. Email: hey@unrent.xyz. See also the imprint.

Visiting the site

The server processes your IP address to deliver pages and to limit requests per minute. Rate-limit counters live only in memory for one minute. Our hosting provider ([hosting provider]) may keep technical access logs. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our interest in running a secure service.

Wallet scans

When you scan an address we store the address, the scan result (accounts, amounts, fee tier), the time, whether it came from a connected wallet, and a salted hash of your IP address that lets us spot abuse without storing the IP itself. Wallet addresses and balances are public on the Solana blockchain. To read them, the address is sent to our Solana RPC provider ([RPC provider]). Scans are deleted after 365 days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

Reclaims and swaps

If you reclaim, we store the claim (wallet, amounts, fee, transaction signatures, status). Your wallet signs the transactions; we never receive keys. Signed transactions are sent to the Solana network through our RPC provider and are public and permanent on-chain. If you use the optional swap, your wallet address and the amount are sent to Jupiter to get a quote. Claim and swap records are kept as business records for as long as commercial and tax law requires. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR.

Holder fee

If you sign the holder check, we store your wallet address, the time, the token balance seen and a salted hash of your IP address, so your token balance counts for your fee from then on. Before each reclaim the balance is read again from the blockchain through our RPC provider. We keep the record while the service runs; ask us and we delete it, after which the wallet pays the standard fee until it signs again. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.

Referral program

If you create a referral link, we store your wallet address, your code, the creation time and a salted hash of your IP address. If you open someone’s referral link, we set the cookie unrent_ref with their code for 30 days. When that browser reclaims SOL for the first time, we store which referrer the wallet belongs to, and the referrer’s share is sent to their wallet in your reclaim transactions. The referrer can see the shortened wallet address, date and amounts of reclaims made through their link; the payout itself is public on-chain. Referral records are kept with the claims as business records. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR.

Rent-drop alerts

If you sign up, we store your email address, optionally the scanned wallet, where you signed up, the sign-up and confirmation times and a salted hash of your IP address. You first receive a confirmation email; nothing else is sent until you confirm (double opt-in). After that you get one email per SIMD-0437 rent step. Emails are delivered by Spacemail (Spaceship, Inc.). Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 30 days. Every email has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribed records are kept for 365 days as proof of the opt-out and then deleted. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, which you can withdraw at any time.

Storage in your browser

The public site sets one cookie, and only if you open a referral link: unrent_ref (the referrer’s code, 30 days, see Referral program). Two values are kept in your browser’s local storage and never sent to us on their own: the name of the wallet you last connected (unrent:wallet) and the addresses you entered on the portfolio page (unrent:portfolio). You can clear them in your browser at any time. The admin area uses one strictly necessary session cookie for operators.

  • Hosting: [hosting provider]
  • Solana RPC: [RPC provider]
  • Email delivery: Spacemail (Spaceship, Inc.)

Where a recipient is outside the EU/EEA, transfers rely on an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses.
